The brief
Dune House refuses the villa-as-object. Instead it is a set of thick rammed-earth walls that hold a cool, planted courtyard at the centre and turn their backs to the road. Living happens on the shaded inner face; the desert is framed, deliberately, through three precise openings.
Deliberate moves
- 01Rammed-earth mass for thermal calm without machinery
- 02A single central court that every room borrows light from
- 03Three framed views — nothing more, nothing accidental
